Madeline Rae is a Chicago based ceramic and textile artist. She creates contemporary yet charming functional ceramics, some more decorative than functional. Through the exploration of contrasting materials and textures, Madeline Rae focuses on the tactile element in her work to offer a unique visual experience for your home!
Madeline earned her B.S in Art Education at Bradley University in 2014 and will be completing her M.A in Community Art at Eastern Illinois University in 2021. Madeline currently works as a high school art teacher in the Chicagoland area. Madeline continues to practice her art which has been on display at at Small Favors XV: Expanding the Field at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, West Elm's Meet the Maker, and Handmade Happy Hour's virtual Auction to support My Block My Hood Chicago.
